About the Fragrance
"Durra" from The Spirit of Dubai is a unisex fragrance with a rich amber scent profile. First revealed to the world in 2017, this complex aroma begins with a captivating blend of marine accords, airy aldehydes, fresh watery and ozonic elements, and a medley of invigorating scents including clary sage, coconut, pine, and grapefruit. This is intricately woven with the warmth of saffron, the zest of bergamot, and the spice of nutmeg, cumin, and pepper. Further enhancing the top layer are nuances of bitter almond, lavender, assorted spices, cloves, a fruit-infused bouquet, artemisia, cardamom, cypress, styrax, cinnamon, apple, violet leaf, raspberry, and a hint of mint. Progressing to the heart of the fragrance, it reveals a luxurious fusion of oud (agarwood), earthy notes, birch leaf, and leather, softened by vanilla. The woody essence is potentiated by guaiac wood and cedar, while hints of sandalwood, ginger, and incense provide depth. Myrhh, olibanum, and the floral presence of jasmine, rose, cashmere wood, lily-of-the-valley, and a touch of honey create a multifaceted core. The foundation rests on a second wave of oud, enriched by immortal blossoms, civet, vanilla, and wild elements like castoreum. Guaiac wood merges with a collection of exquisite woods while benzoin and tolu balsam add resinous sweetness.
